Alien Caterpillar Painting Techniques

In this lesson from September, we followed a tutorial on painting in Photoshop using the lineart and colour palette provided.

This tutorial was useful because I learnt how to clean up a messy lineart quickly. I used to struggle with painting an image after adding shadows in grey because I find that sometimes it can make everything look muddy. However this time I tried to mimic the final image in the tutorial and realised that by picking more vibrant colours and painting over the image, I could come up with something that looks more appealing.
